Have I been scammed?

I think I have been scammed. There are 2 tracking numbers for my package, one for the seller's country and one for the international part of the shipping. According the the domestic number, the package have been delivered yesterday. None of the tracking site shows where exactly and when I try to ask for more details or proof of delivery, it says my zip code does not match. The international nr shows nothing, only that "tracking details uploaded" 14 days ago, when my parcel was allegedly shipped. I was thinking maybe the domestic shipping company handed it over to the international shippers, but I'm nervous because I can't locate it. The tracking on eBay shows nothing, only that it's on its way and tracking details were provided, but it also says the parcel should arrive between 21 June - 26 June. What on Earth should I do?

Re: Have I been scammed?

Are you the buyer? I see you are in Hungary..

If you are the buyer, where is the seller located?

What is the "domestic" part... in your country, or the sellers country?

Assuming you purchased from a seller in the USA, it is probably sitting at the Ebay International Hub waiting to start it's next leg. You may want to ask the seller to try to help figure it out.

Re: Have I been scammed?

Thanks for your reply! I'm the buyer and I'm located in Hungary. The seller is located in the UK.

The "domestic" part is the sellers country.

I thought the same, maybe it's just waiting to start its next leg, but I became uncertain. I also didn't want to start an item hasn't arrived case, because I didn't to falsely accuse anyone. In the meantime, I contacted the international company which says the following: "we are not a logistic company nor a shipping company. Those shipping or logistic company is renting our meter where the label is being printed and being placed to your package. We are not handling the package physically."

I'm so confused

Re: Have I been scammed?

At this point, you don't need to worry. Looks like UK seller is using the same ebay international shipping option that is available here. And it is also common with other label providers. I don't use ebay but when I ship abroad, I first ship the package to a domestic hub in one of the US states. I use our regular USPS postal service with its own tracking number. Once the parcel reaches the center (the tracking would show ' delivered' ) it is assigned a new number depending on which shipping partner they use, e.g. La Poste, Swiss Air, Royal mail etc. It takes time before that new number becomes active and actually shows any tracking progress. Ebay estimates are only estimates. I would ask the seller for an update, specifically, the international tracking number. There are various tracking sites you can use once you get the tracking number, e.g. aftership, ship24, etc,
