Does anyone have experience selling something like this and would know the tariff code? I am trying to find it and figure it out. I have a bunch of these new with tag pants I would like to sell. I have been searching
https://hts.usitc.gov but I cannot seem to find what would match it.

I generally use https://uscensus.prod.3ceonline.com
Type in polyester wool pants and follow the prompts.
I came up with: 6203.43

Is this a new thing that we HAVE to have the code on overseas shipments? I don't recall doing that before.

Sadly yes (unless its a GSP sale)

Thanks I appreciate that!

It's required by numerous countries @toomuchstuffagain35 , but as the OP said - only when you ship direct. If you ship with eBay International Shipping then eIS handles all of that for you.

As I say, I know the box was there before but the label page never insisted on having the code before. Oh well, not that hard, was just curious if this came in with EIS did.

No, not with eIS. The laws and regulations with international shipping have been increasing exponentially over the past couple years.
Read a bit more about HTS codes here - Pirate has a great way of simplifying everything:
https://support.pirateship.com/en/articles/5255164-what-is-a-harmonization-number
I'll post the most relevant part of that article in relation to your question:
Some foreign countries' customs departments require Harmonization Numbers in order to determine the customs duties and import taxes that recipients need to pay when their shipment gets imported into their specific country.
Depending on the country you're shipping to, adding a Harmonization # when you fill out your customs form is optional. Every shipment going to member countries in the European Union (EU) requires Harmonization Numbers to be recorded in the customs data, as per the new VAT guidelines for the EU
In addition to EU member countries, Northern Ireland, Norway, and Switzerland also require Harmonization Numbers on all labels.
Certain other countries in South America also require Harmonization Numbers, such as Brazil. Since more countries are beginning to require it, the best practice for all international shipments is to enter your Harmonization # when filling out the customs form, if possible.
See the full list of European countries that require Harmonization Numbers.
On top of foreign destinations, shipments to military APO, FPO, and DPO addresses require harmonization codes. You'll need to include the harmonization number for your item(s), no matter where the military base you're shipping to is located.

I know what it is, I once worked for a Customs Broker and they can be super fun at times, just the first time I'd seen it actually required before you could ship with ebay labels.

I wasn't questioning your knowledge on what it is. I was trying to answer your question about when it became required. I mentioned upthread it's in the past few years more countries have been requiring it, and I supported that statement with the info in my last post from Pirate.
Part of the text I quoted above says, "Since more countries are beginning to require it, the best practice for all international shipments is to enter your Harmonization # when filling out the customs form, if possible."
Sorry if my intention wasn't clear.
