Handling Time During the Holidays

Hi All,

I've done a bit of searching and haven't come across this topic yet. If it's already been discussed feel free to send over a link.

What are the handling times for the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day orders? We offer same day and one day handling on all orders and I know holidays are treated as weekends but I can't seem to find anything stating if Christmas Eve is considered a holiday by eBay.

We are closed for a 4 day weekend but don't want to get dinged for late shipments if orders are showing a shipping deadline of Monday 12/24.

Can anyone shed some light for me? Thank you!

Handling Time During the Holidays

I believe...and I don't know this for a fact but how I am treating it... that if the post office is open Christmas eve I will be dropping off Christmas eve. I've never stayed open this late in the season, but after some advise from other sellers in the community, I am gonna "let it ride" 🙂

I'd take the ding and drive on 🙂

Cheers

Monday is not an official USPS holiday, so you should infer that eBay considers it to be a regular business day.

Federal emplyees are getting Monday off, and that could affect USPS too, but it would be prudent  to add one day to your handling time this week.
