HOw to add new tracking # after a voided label.

I had to void a label because it wouldn't print and just went to the post office and shipped that way. However the items still hav e the voided tracking number and I don't know how to add a new one. I contacted the buyers and provided the new tracking number to them but I don't know how to update it on my side. Any suggestions?

I beleive eBay removed the feature to remove a tracking number, you'll have to add the 2nd number. Go to My eBay, Orders, find the item and click on "edit" next to the tracking number.

^^^ THIS ^^^

Just add the new tracking number. Both will show, but only non- voided one will update, and shoild be ok

Unclear if causes any late shipment or other seller metric issues (did not for the last one I did that way) or what might happen if an issue like an INR happens and the stupid eBay bots latch onto the voided tracking number, but any of those potential problems should be solvable with a call to CS in the unlikely event they occur.

You're welcome.

As in my case, 99.9% no issues will pop up, but in the unlikely event that something goes wrong please come back and let us know what happens.

This is an area that is ambiguous, and I don't think there is a pat solution. Since eBay took away the removal ability, there is no automated solution or 1,2,3 written procedure of flow. I think eBay probably considers it a fringe case if seller enters multiple tracking numbers AND something goes wrong with the bots causing an issue, and a call to CS would be their answer.

(I hate that sort of ambiguity and always want to operate under "if I do A,B,and C then the policies/procedures say that the result will be Q", but in reality it doesn't always work that way here.)
