Just wanted to pop in to say that I don't believe eBay should allow cases to be opened on the first day after an item could be delivered by the usps. I have had a few buyers who have done this, primarily because the option is so readily available. Does anyone use disclaimers in their listings that they could share so I can address this more in advance? Just thinking of defects that might be avoided and casting a net to people who actually sell. I hate to think of he answer I'd get from a front-line company CSR ....

No amount of disclaimers will void ebay's MBG, which allows a buyer to open a case after the last estimated delivery date.
If you're entering the tracking number into the case, you should be fine.

It'll make it I'm certain but not quickly.
If this is a regular occurence for you, it would seem better adding a day to your handling time, or speaking to your carrier about scans and prompt dropoff at the post office.
It would seem like your "fast" stuff should be arriving "quickly".
If this is just an occasional scenario, there's not much to do.

I just bought something and paid a little more because it said fast and free, the fast part is what I was after. If I wanted to wait a couple of days longer I could have saved a couple of bucks.
