Guaranteed Delivery

If a seller is using the handling time only for guranteed delivery and ships within their handling time who is responsible when the item is not delivered on what ebay has as a guranteed date?

Most of our listings ship free with a paid priority by the buyer and buyers are choosing free shipping.

We have sold items that will ship out monday showing guarteed delivery with a delivery date of thursday traveling from east coast to west coast and all are free shipping not priority paid by the buyer.

Many links on this and we can't find the correct answer.

eBay!

here is the policy:

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/offering-ebay-guaranteed-delivery?id=4645&st=2&pos=...

If the buyer paid for shipping and the item arrives after the guaranteed delivery date, as long as you’ve met your handling time and ensured the package was scanned at the post office or by your carrier, we’ll refund the buyer’s shipping cost or pay for their return label if they no longer want the item.

If shipping was free and the item arrives after the guaranteed delivery date but the buyer wants to keep the item, we’ll send them an eBay voucher. We’ll also handle all customer service queries related to late delivery with this option.

Guaranteed Delivery

The seller is responsible for delivery times set by eBay.

eBay is displaying an estimated delivery time based upon the prioity mail shipping option. If the buyer chooses the free shipping option - you want to make sure that you have a service selected (1st class mail, parcel select etc) - the estimated delivery time will be adjusted based upon the shipping method selected.

Guaranteed Delivery

Not door to door method but ebay guaranteed delivery on handling time if shipped on time is picked up by ebay .

You have to understand they guarantee on location , handling time & delivery service.
I am in NJ not 1 item shows guaranteed delivery to me, even if I decide Priority mail service it is not being guaranteed by ebay

Now changing to your zip code area if your buyer pays for Priority it is guaranteed by ebay, they are not doing it for the first class service only Priority
It's on them not you. they figure which of our listings they are going to be able to guarantee.
