Generating a Scan Report after you have already purchased shipping... is it possible?

Hello there: I have tried to communicate with a couple of the Ebay representatives. I have now attempted numerous times and the agents don't know what a scan report is, and what it is used for. I am hoping this group might be able to help me. 

I thought I was in a bulk shipping mode when I calculated all of my shipping labels. I tried to generate a scan report before I hit the purchase button, but the scan page came up empty.  I then purchased all of my labels, and tried to generate a report again, thinking they had to be purchased before that function would kick in. Again, the scan page had no shipments showing up.

My question: can I generate a scan report for items with paid postage?

Yes, you are supposed to be able to do that, but reports of glitches are causing problems doing so.  While this is being fixed, consider using a free PirateShip account, which will import from ebay and upload tracking.

Scan forms can only be generated after you purchase shipping labels and tracking numbers become available.

Scan forms are only available when labels are purchased using the bulk shipping form.

What happens if you try a different browser?

As rfmtm said, a lot of sellers have been getting error messages of late so if you rely on the scan form you might prefer to use another service to purchase labels for the time being.

Thanks for your quick responses. This is so disheartening. This issue seems critical to Ebay users, and the fact that Ebay has not resolved this chronic issue does not inspire confidence. Off to PirateShip I go!

This was one of the reasons I stopped using ebay labels and never looked back. Their entire process was (looks like it still is) a total pain in ... . A simple thing like a SCAN form. With other providers, you print a couple of labels, then if you get another order or more orders an hour later, you print more labels. When you are ready to go to PO or have the order picked up, you just click on Create a SCAN form, and you get the scan form. It's beyond me that it still is (seems from the poster's message) so complicated. Other poviders have figured it out. Moreover, other sites are virtually glitch free, fantastic customer service, live chat, respond to email question basically the same day. Ebay would have to pay me to use their labels.
