Hello,
I'm a farily new seller and just learned an expensive lesson related to the GSP program.
An item sold yesterday for $36 with free shipping. When I went to print a shipping label the cost was $18!
The buyer is in Canada and only then did I realize I'm enrolled in the GSP! I suppose the free shipping defaulted to "free international shipping".....as I say, expensive lesson.
For now I opted out of the GSP out of frustration. I may be back when I figure out the shipping issues.....I know others have commented on this as well....just wanted to add my frustration to the mix.

If you normally do free shipping you will want to uncheck the box specifying free shipping as there is no option to set domestics to free and international to buyer pays.
That is not true. A seller that has free domestic shipping can charge for international shipping.

I have no idea what i am doing here? I never shipped GSP. I dont know which label to print? They charged the buyer a VAT fee, so i assume it is a GSP shipment? But then they have a checkbox for EBAY STANDARD SHIPPING Is that GSP as well?
I got into it with a customer rep on chat last night, i wanted to cancel shipment, but ebay is Refusing to refund my paypal fees i am going to be charged!
Can anyone help me with this shipment who knows about GSP?
I looked at a couple of your recently sold items and they are listed with first class international, not the gsp. Which listing are you referring to and where is the buyer? If they are in Australia ebay has charged VAT/GST to Australians for a couple of years.
