I have to ship 300 lbs item but the shipping labels aren't but 70lbs. I've already sold the item so how do I change it so I can send it with the money the buyer paid for the shipping

The USPS will not ship an item over 70#. You probably need a freight company and it will cost more money than you probably charged. Sorry to be harsh, but this should have been figured out before you listed or sold.
It will mean a ding to your record, but you probably ought to cancel this deal because it's headed from bad to worse. Can't see what you sold for some reason. You cannot change it so you can send it with the amount the buyer paid for shipping. Do you see how absurd that would be?

You can't change the label - you can cancel it, as eBay doesn't offer a label option for an item weighing 300 pounds. You have to get a freight company, then when they give you a BOL (Bill of Lading) or tracking number you can add it.
Here are a few freight companies you can try
UPS Freight
FedEx Freight
R&L
Old Dominion
UShip
TForce
A local freight broker.

Can you split it into smaller lots? If this is possible, you can give the buyer multiple tracking numbers.
If it's one big item then what the others have said should be sufficient.

I think your answer was much more helpful than mine. Am still concerned, however, that this seller appears to have launched his eBay selling career with little knowledge. His $1,000 item is listed with $500 shipping to me in Ohio. Guess we should be hoping that he finds a shipper who can do it for the shipping cost he's listed. Thank you again.

Okay he paid $500 to have it shipped which is how much the company said it would be but my funds are on hold and cannot send until they release them. Therefore Im stuck til then wasn't sure if I could do anything different and also he charged the promotion fee from eBay if cancelled

You need to ship within your stated time frame...doesn't matter if your funds are on hold. What was your handling time? If you fail to ship on time you will be charged the promotional fee + the FVF on the sold item.
This is a tough situation for a new seller who isn't familiar with eBay & selling/shipping. Keep in mind that if the buyer files a INAD case you will be paying the $500 to ship the item back, and that money will come directly from you bank/payment source, possibly well in advance or your payment being released. So be prudent and have $1500 in your bank account just in case

Next time, to use a freight carrier when setting up the listing, select Freight as the shipping option.
The buyer will not be allowed to checkout and pay until they contact you providing their address. You can then contact your chosen freight carrier and get a price.
You then change the listing to Flat Rate Shipping and enter the price. The buyer can then purchase the item and pay.
Make sure to ask the buyer questions:
Does the location have a receiving dock an 18 wheeler can deliver to?
Is this a residential delivery?
Will a box truck be needed with a lift gate?
Is this a 1st floor delivery or 2nd floor?
Is there an elevator?
So on and soforth. Know all the logistics as freight carriers charge extra for just about everything.
Don't try to ship something 300lbs without a legit freight carrier.

Wow. I seen that Transfer Case. Good Sale....But....
How far off is this Buyer? Do you even know how to palletize that thing to get it shipped? Do you have a Dock for a Freight Company to back up to for loading? If not, a Forklift to load it onto a truck? Requesting a Truck with a Lift Gate adds more to the Freight Cost. Does Buyer have a way to get the pallet off the truck at Delivery? A Dock? A Forklift? If Buyer requires a Truck with a Lift Gate also for this to get delivered, more added to Freight costs again.
If Buyer is close by, up to a 10-12 hour drive, get it loaded in your truck and take off. If across the country, you're about to take a Hit. Refund, take the dings, the loss of the money you won't get back after the Refund, all that.
It will be a lesson learned. You will survive though. Many have by making such a mistake as this. Not knowing how to ship with Freight Companies. Then trying to figure it out after the sale.
Good Luck.

What "company" did you get that shipping quote from?

If you can't purchase the shipping label through Ebay, you have to cover the shipping.
Being a new seller, they will hold the funds for 30 days, but you can't wait until then to ship.

Per the OP, it has not yet been shipped and is not likely to leave his premises until/unless he gets this figured out.
