Fraud Claim

So I bought this baseball card on here from this guy that claims to mail the item out "standard shipping". Only it's really economy shipping. I thought it'd be first-class mail. I'm getting a little sick & tired of paying for first-class when it's really being sent to me the super-slow economy or media mail so I left him neutral feedback. He messaged me inquiring about it so I said that I would go ahead and change it to positive and then he replied back saying how he already reported me to e-bay and he also called me an idiot in his rebuttal to my feedback rating of the transaction. He is clearly overreacting. What's going to happen with that report now? Am I going to have my account suspended? I do know this, in the future I ain't leaving any more feedback for any transaction. If the sellers don't have to leave me any than I shouldn't be expected to either.

Just leave it. A reply like that harms him much more than it does you. 

 

Or you can reply to his reply that FC is STANDARD, Media Mail is ECONOMY.

You've got nothing to be concerned about. Anyone can report anyone to eBay for anything. Just like anyone can file a lawsuit against anyone for anything. The issue with a lawsuit is being able to prove your case in order to win. You did nothing wrong here so if the seller actually did report you nothing will happen to your account. No policy violation means it will be ignored. 

 

Frankly that seller did themselves more harm with their rebuttal to your FB. Future buyers will see that comment and not want to purchase from that seller. I wouldn't now that I've seen them call you an idiot when you spent your money on one of their items. So you actually did get some form of retribution inadvertently. Let this go and purchase from someone else. You are entitled to your opinion. Best of luck to you....

Report the seller's rebuttal to the feedback you left to get it removed. And when that happens, your seller will be sanctioned. And quartered.

 

Get it removed.

Not sure what Standard Shipping is but Standard First Class Shipping is a different category, but still no need to call you a name.
