Hello,
For the first time, I've receiving a return request from a buyer who received a broken shipment of figurines, despite my best effort to bubble wrap the heck out of them. I've asked for a picture of the complete mess, especially the shipping box. Shipment was UPS from California to Hawaii.
Question...do I also refund the shipping, if I don't want the figurines back (not sure if all is broken)? Is it reasonable to refund the item price? Thank you.

You would provide a full refund, including shipping, if you don't want the figurines back.

It's reasonable to refund the item price plus the shipping cost paid. It's actually mandatory. Sorry.
If you don't want the figurines back, you can save return shipping costs. Yippee.

If the buyer files a claim for "not as described" then you will have to refund their payment in full. And if you want the items back, you pay for the return shipping.
