Did you mean:

Fianlly got my first return request

Not to bad ebay told me to wait for the item to get back and then refund the item total and first shipping. The customer wrote wanting me to pay return shipping as well. Should I just give back what ebay has asked or the extra.

Re: Fianlly got my first return request

Depends.

Did you offer free returns on your listings? If so, the buyer should have been able to print a label once the return was approved.

Does the buyer say there is something wrong with the item or did they just change their mind? If the latter, and you don't offer free returns you are under NO obligation to pay for return shipping. Actually, if it is a buyer remorse return and the buyer paid for the initial shipping, you're under no obligation to pay for the first shipping either.

Re: Fianlly got my first return request

I offer  30 day returns not free returns. Not sure what they refunded it under I just got a message from ebay that said return has been accepted and wait for the product before I refund. When I went into details it says refund the 51.95 that is the product and first shipping. The user sent a message saying he wanted the return shipping also not ebay.

Re: Fianlly got my first return request

Sounds like this is a buyer's remorse return, didn't fit or didn't like.  You approved the return request and now what?  Do what eBay says.  Refund original payment within 2 days after it's returned.   If you were responsible for return shipping they would've told you you're responsible for the return shipping costs.  The buyer would've been issued a return label that eBay would charge to you!

Do what ebay tells you, & just ignore additional buyer demands.

There is more to your return policy than that.  I took a peek at one of your listings.  You offer 30 day returns with buyer pays shipping.  That last part is really important.

What type of claim did your buyer open?  Look at the claim, what was the reason they checked off on the list of reasons for the return?

I think your buyer is confused.  Tell them to go to the claim, there should be something there that tells them to click on a certain spot to print a return label.

If the buyer filed a Buyer's remorse claim, Ebay will make them pay for the return shipping per your return policy.  If the buyer opened a SNAD, the return label Ebay gives them will be charged to your Ebay account.

Re: Fianlly got my first return request

If  ebay is not charging you return shipping then the buyer chose a remorse return.

Say something vague like, "I'll look at it when the item arrives."

Close the case by refunding after it arrives.

BBL and ignore.
