Hello,
I've bought an item from a Chinese based seller. The delivery period the seller gave was aprox. 60 days.
Looking at the tracking information after ~15 days there was no more tracking information.
After around 30 days, I contacted the seller who told me to wait the entire 60 days. After some contacts to ask for a refund, because it was clear it would never arrive, I was not succesfull to get the refund and had to finally open a case.
I was going to leave negative feedback, but I wasn't able to do it.
This doesn't make any sense to me, I would like to leave negative feedback, given the negative experience, but I cant!

Feedback can be left up to 60 days after purchase.
There is no need to feel slighted.

Before you bought the item, you were told that it might take 60 days. Often international sellers will list a 60 day shipping window knowing that the item will arrive a lot sooner. Except, there's a pandemic at the moment...Because they are often not posted in real time, tracking messages aren't always the best way to confirm the progress of a shipment. Also, there's a pandemic. It sounds like the seller was telling you that you might have to wait the full sixty days. The package is likely still in transit and you don't have a compelling reason to believe it's never coming. And why do you think the seller deserves negative feedback? There's a pandemic, after all.

I don’t think you understand. You were informed before you bought the item that it could take up to 60 days, correct? But because you felt the tracking data wasn’t updating frequently enough and because you had previously received items listed with that time window within 25 days, you became impatient after only 30 days. After the seller reminded you of the 60-day window you agreed to when you bought the item, instead of waiting, you decided to open a return anyway. Pandemic or not, why do you feel you should be allowed to damage the seller’s reputation, when you knew before you agreed to buy the item that it could take up to two months? Why do you refuse to accept any accountability for choosing to buy from this seller?

Your first post made it seem as if you opened a case before the 60 days was up. Then you said you waited the full 60 days before opening a case. If you waited the full 60 and still did not receive the item then you were correct to open a case.
I see nothing wrong with asking the seller after 30 days as long as you don't threaten to open a case. After all the listing said Approx 60 days for delivery
Have a great day!

I sincerely apologize. I misread your reply and was still responding based on the information in your original post.

Yes, you are correct.
I was not clear on my initial post, but I waited the 60 days before opening a case.
After that it required some going back and forward with messages to get the refund.
But because it took that long I wasn't able to give feedback, and that is probably why the seller has so much positive feedback. If you get a delivery time of 60days, you have to wait... then you can never give the negative feedback when it goes wrong and the seller doesn't make it simple to get the refund.
