I shipped a $900 item in a large box via FedEx and insured it for the full amount on November 25th. On November 30th FedEx said it was delivered....but it wasn't. I have been round and round with Ebay and FedEx and haven't fully resolved the issue. It seems that FedEx goes out of their way to protect themselves and their employees. As a side note, Ebay tells me I don't need to refund the buyer since I can prove it was delivered! Finally after more than 10 hours of phone calls I got a check on December 26th. The shipping was $77.77, but they deducted almost $40 and called it an incentive allowance. Does anybody understand this or have any suggestions on how to recuperate? I would appreciate any help!
