Fake return scam...again.

So, for the 2nd time in a few months I was subject to the same fake return scam. I made a pose about what happened to me the first time aka my watch is gone AND had to refund the buyer. Ebay didn't care but I do plan on trying again to get my money back. We will see.

Anyways, sent someone a brand new watch and because I am moving, I have a big disclaimer that says to ask questions and check pictures thoroughly because I cant accept returns because I need things gone asap. Anyways, upon delivering lady emails me watch is broken and opens up a request. Now I figured A. Scamming me or B. Maybe found same watch for cheaper or didn't like it and were trying to find a way to bypass my no returns policy. Anyways, as we all know Ebay basically always automatically sides with the buyer its **bleep** but its how it goes and the person knew this too which is why she did not say a word after the initial response to open up a case and return because she knew Ebay would side with her. I asked for any proof its broken and of course nothing, but she didnt even respond telling me no. Nothing!!! Because she knew Ebay will side with her which is absolutely bull****! After last time, I started documenting what I am selling in detail. So prior to shipping her the watch, I took pictures and made videos of every aspect of the watch. She claimed screw down cap doesn't come off and crown is broken and cant change time or anything! Which is convenient to me, because I actually made a video removing the cap and setting the time and date and everything! Yep, caught your bull****!! So I called Ebay right away they basically told me, Ebay is going to side with her so appeal especially if you have proof. So again not a single message from the buyer even after I uploaded proof. Just unreal! Anyways, few days go by and the watch was returned but I didnt get it!! And Paypal refunded her! I called Ebay and they tried to act like they got me like ya sir nice try the watch was delivered basically implying I am the one lying. Anyways I snap and they do research and find out she sent it to some random address aka she didnt return s***! This is so long I know, I apologize but then they approved my appeal and said I will get money back  Of course its been 6 days and 3 diff Ebay calls I was told 24 hours money will be returned. And ya still hasnt happened. I do believe it will be reversed and Ill get my money (knock on wood) but Ebay is really starting to **bleep** me off. I mean this is just crazy how easy it is for someone to pull this scam right under Ebay's noses. If I wasn't so OCD and didn't make like 5 videos of the watch, I would be screwed and her lying and sending it to some random address def helped my cause! Just so shameful of Ebay.

Oh then the seller reported me. Haha. Because her lying a** was caught. I really want to mention her user named but currently in a thing with Ebay submitting a formal report on the seller, not like an email report.

Anyways, Ebay is just horrible. Thanks for listening and reading.

Fake return scam...again.

Well, I wouldn't hold my breath you get the money back.  Reps have a record of lying just to get you off the phone.  A  refund can happen by 48 hrs. But maybe you got lucky and they aren't lying and it's just taking longer than usual.

Why it's being reversed is because the buyer has to return it to your zip code not to a random address.  Sadly, though I don't  think the money is taken back from the buyer.  They give the seller a courteous refund from eBay's pocket.   If the buyer has a history of this eBay will take away their MBG.

Fake return scam...again.

eBay should remove "returns" and not accept "gift cards".  Both are a scammers delight. And MBG a scammers weapon.

Fake return scam...again.

I had a return request last year that I knew was a scam.   I had eBay process the return shipping label.  This buyer waited until the last day to initiate the return.  I watched the tracking and noted that it was delivered the next day which would be impossible as I'm on the opposite coast.  However,  the tracking showed it was delivered to the buyer's  zip code.   I contacted eBay with the tracking information and they closed the return in my favor. I don't subscribe to automatic returns so that I have an opportunity to inspect the item before refunding.
