I reccently bought a part that is fake for sure. I can't send them back becuz it was shipped to my importer and he sent the part to me in Brazil. First i try to contact the seller whit no sucess and then a open a return request whit ebay. The buyer accept the return request but i cant send the part from USA or send to part for USA in the time i had. Also it all make a lot of costs that will be higher than the part itself.
When i ask ebay to take an action and help whit the situation they decided that i will have to send the part back. When i ask why the sad that they doesn't have the parts in hand and this way thay can't tell if its fake or not(In the request by fake item i Upload 10 photos and and a full text explaining the differences. Also posted a Bosch(the factory the suposed build the part) and a Mercedes forum saying exactly about this MAF fake units and how to identify Origina Bosch Products).
Now Ebay closed the case because i didn`t send the parts back, and i can't have an answear saying if I go to a Bosch representant here in Brasil and ask for they evaluate the part and give a letter saying it's a fake product and would be destroyed. As i told proviously the part is a gross counterlift part i wouldn't place this in my customers car and don't wanna to anyone buying a part like this and passing trought this process. I Can understand that maybe the seller also was a counterlift victim but was his duty to send the parts back to his supplier and know how to identify a fake from a original product.
Anyone knows how should I proceed?
