FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

HAVE RECEIVED OVER $500 IN FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENTS IN THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS.  FEDEX RESPONSE IS THE ZONE IS FURTHER FROM THE HUB.  THEY HAVE "THE DISCRETION" TO CHARGE MORE IF IT IS A LONGER DRIVE.   HOW DOES UPS AND USPS HAVE THE ABILITY TO CALCULATE THE COST AND FEDEX DOES NOT?  I KNOW EBAY IS JUST PASSING THE COST ON BUT I THINK THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT/ADJUSTED.  FEDEX IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE CUSTOMER.

Re: FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

I just got hit with 2 more adjustments this morning. Called eBay on the 27th about the first I had received and was told that the balance for the “adjustments “ would be refunded within 8 business days. Haven’t gotten any refund. Just more charges. Will be calling eBay again today. Also, how is this even legal?

Re: FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

I would suggest taking a screen shot of any and all FedEx labels before printing. It seems like FedEx is no longer honoring the discount that eBay gives us on the platform. Whatever the case sellers are losing money, fraudulently in my opinion.

Re: FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

We just finished chatting with customer service and that what they told us:

(Upon checking here, I was able to confirm that there is an active technical issue right now regarding sellers being charged FedEx underpaid shipping charges even though the items were measured accurately. There are other members who had experience the same scenario, however nothing to worry our technical team is doing their very best to fix the issue as soon as possible. Here's what I will be doing, I will include your name here on our list for our technical team to prioritize fixing your account.)

(We apologize for the inconvenience and this will be refunded and corrected within the next 5 business days. )

Guess will see if we get our money back.

Having the same issues with FedEx as everyone else. Will be calling E Bay today to complain . This is unfair if not illegal.

Re: FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

Yep. More double charges. eBay needs to remove the discounted FedEx option if FedEx continues to not honor it.

Re: FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

Same issue on my shipment, though not as crazy as some here. My original cost $33, got an additional charge of $35, so more than double. I’ll admit my scale has not been calibrated and may be off a few ounces, maybe as much as a pound on the box this size, but the dimensions are printed on the box, so that should have no way caused an additional 106% maybe $1-$3 dollars!

I’ll be calling eBay the complain and I will be boycotting FedEx until this issue is corrected, other than the eBay sneaker label they pay for.

Re: FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

This is a major issue going on with multiple programming failures. I was told this affected over 26,000 sellers so far and they DO NOT have it fixed. From what I gather Fedex is not passing on the discounts and ALSO the calculator is NOT calculating the dimensional weight properly (yes people it does calculate the dimensional weight in the price usually). I just went in and went to print another label on one with the issue where they clain the dimensional weight was off and plugged in BOTH the actual and dimensional weights....same price. The issue I see i s that "FedEx Ground Economy shows $22 and Home Delivery shows $16....that makes no sense. I was billed an additional $16.... for a total of $32. Their calculator has a problem still.

Re: FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

I just called eBay Customer service, they asked for the item numbers of the effected labels and added them to some list to be reviewed by eBay to verify the overcharged amounts by FedEx. Said if/ when approved, a refund will be issued in 5-14 business days. We shall see

Re: FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

Same problem here, we mainly ship big bulky items, in past month we have been billed over $10k in "cost adjust " fees, we are a small company and had to notify our shipping dept to download a dimensional weight calculator and use that on every package, it still didnt solve the problem so we now ship with Pirate ship. Would love to go back to eBay shipping, it simple and easy and "used to" offer huge discounts. I just woke up to 10 cost adjust reimbursements, but thats drop in the hat as to what is owed.  FRUSTRATED!

Re: FEDEX LABEL ADJUSTMENT

Follow up to my post last night about calling Customer Service. I received my refund this morning, less than 12 hours after calling. I recommend everyone experiencing issues of the overcharging by FedEx to call eBay customer service.
