Extreme usps delays in NJ

So anyone from New jersey mostly north NJ experienced very long delays shipping using usps first class or is it just me? Some orders that have dropped off on October 8th or 9th hasnt reached the destination and it still shows that they stuck in Teterboro location in NJ?

this is also happening with the USPS Miami postal clearing house. Things just sit for weeks

A sorting facility in north NJ was closed because the ceiling collapsed. Teterboro is taking on the closed facility's volume and they're not equipped for it. There have been several posts on the shipping board about delays in NJ.

NJ buyers must be pretty well aware of the situation, but my understanding is that sellers in NJ are getting the short end of the stick because eBay isn't extending their estimated delivery dates to reflect the situation.

I asked ebay many times to change the estimated delivery date and this is not right for the seller because we are the one getting screwed at the end. They file a claim stating they havent received the item yet which they are right because the estimated delivery date is normally few days later and they dont pay attention the we drop off the item either on the same day they purchased or next business day and its the usps that delays their orders!
