So, the USPS websites post a banner saying "Alert: SEVERE WEATHER IN THE MIDWEST AND CENTRAL U.S. AND WINTER STORMS IN THE WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL U.S. MAY DELAY FINAL DELIVERY OF YOUR MAIL AND PACKAGES. " eBay then sends delivery estimates that start on the first day I promise to ship by in the listing. example: My listings offer 2 day turnaround. An item ordered for delivery in the area described in the banner is made on the 5th, It will mail out on the 7th. the estimated delivery shown to the buyer is the 7th-11th. The first date is impossible, and the last date doesn't seem to be taking the warning, which eBay admits they have an awareness of, into account. I'm getting killed on requests. Where does ebay get their delivery estimates from. They don't seem to be based in reality.

The delivery estimated dates come from the USPS to ebay. . They aren't from the USPS internal system tracking scans . they are physical and Auto computer generated upload to USPS online site. The USPS 1-800 customer service isn't provided any shipping info from USPS Legists department nor can they get the internal tracking scans .
