Did you mean:

Estimated delivery date has passed, no updates on item.

I recently purchased an item that was supposed to come next week, however yesterday the estimated delivery time was changed to Sunday, August 13th. It’s now August 14th and the last update in tracking was last night.

If tracking updated last night then you're weeks too early on worrying. The item scanned last night is actively moving. Estimated delivery dates are just that: estimates

That said, you have 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date (check your original email order confirmation for that latest date) to file a non-receipt claim if the package never arrives.

Am completely in the dark as to how the last estimated delivery date as seen in the listing could change to an EARLIER date and hope someone will explain this.

Re: Estimated delivery date has passed, no updates on item.

If a seller ships sooner than their handling time, or if the carrier over-performs (like sticking a ground package on an airplane) the estimated delivery date can be moved up @soh.maryl . BUT that does not change the original estimated delivery date on the order or change the timeline for filing a non-receipt claim. That's why I told the OP to look at the EDD on their original order email to get that timeline. They can't file an INR 'til after the latest date of the original EDD range.

Re: Estimated delivery date has passed, no updates on item.

So I get emails in my inbox on my iPhone or your computer when something that has tracking is in route...on route...day of delivery...out for delivery. I only go by these emails and not by eBay site.

I get deliveries from USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc and I always get updates on delivery. Try checking your inbox of emails.

And that's why I wondered how the last estimated delivery date seen in the listing could change.

Thank you for your explanation, which proves my point exactly.
