I'm at my wits end with the USPS but more than that I'm done with the buyers who open cases after only 2 weeks for an item not delivered. These people are clueless and have no respect for us as sellers. To not even email me first and go right into a case is just rude. From this point on anyone who does that to me is getting blocked. I have no time for these people.
My BBL is growing exponentially because people have no patience AND THEY HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE! I ship a replacement or give a refund if an order hasn't arrived in 4 weeks! Just be patient!!

I noticed that you are in PA. That is one of the states that seems to still be having problems with shipping. Items that I ship to PA takes almost 2 weeks to get to the buyer. NJ was some issues for me as well. The rest of the states seem to be okay for me (I am on the west coast.)
I am sorry to hear that you are still having a nightmare with USPS...are most of your items getting to their destinations on time (more or less) or are most of them having these delays?
It would be interesting to find out...if most are delayed, then the problem is likely with USPS in your state and that is terrible...how are you supposed to conduct business outside of having to use UPS or Fedex? Ugh.
I feel for you...😔

With everything that continues to go on, which includes these ice storms, as a seller, you must decide if you are better off not selling at this time. People that are not online sellers or regular buyers are not always in the know about shipping issues.
Take a step back and think. It is definitely hard times for many. I wish you only the best moving forward.

So you are faced with a "business problem?" What will you do? Close the store and hide under the desk? Or look for different ways to navigate the system and keep selling?
There have been a few sellers who are successfully navigating the situation by managing buyer's expectations upfront and creating a good buying experience. Those folk have been, for the most part, able to avoid INR cases and refund.
But many here will tell you with absolute certainty to not poke the bear! That advice is in my opinion a fearful hands off approach. Me? I prefer to take control of what I can control and part of that is buyer's expectations. Alternatively once can be a 'ship it & forget it" type of seller, hands off and deal with angry buyers.
I saw this post from some time back, but it has a good approach that I suspect if used can help with the kind of issue articulated here.
And here is an approach another seller takes that makes some sense and is self protective.
Also be aware of the extension eBay granted to sellers when the Mess started during peak season. I know for a fact that sellers can and do still get these extensions as my INR cases have been extended and extended by eBay.
So perhaps something in the experience of others will be of some help?
Best wishes going forward.
