Economy Shipping

Typically; Economy is USPS 1st Class (under 16 oz); but can also be the newer Parcel Select or Parcel Ground etc.

Vs. 'Expedited' which is usually USPS Priority (over 16 oz)

These can also be Fedex and UPS, which uses "different" terminology for their 'slower' shipping vs their 'faster' shipping.

As for eBay Economy Shipping Services eBay has this chart so I would think you are ok to use one of these services.

I'm not sure that there is an official "stipulation" for it. Eye of the beholder and all that.

As for seeing how much it cost "a seller" to ship, you are a seller. As such you have access to all the shipping calculators. There is one on eBay, also on USPS, UPS and FedEx websites.

On the other hand, I see that you are also an active buyer. Are you trying to find out what it cost some OTHER seller to ship? There is more to the cost of shipping than just the postage. Quite frankly someone else's business overhead is none of your business.

That would be like me asking how much you paid for something I was planning on buying.

Package up what you want to ship, then measure width x height x length and weigh it.  You can enter those figures into a shipping calculator.

Try inputting the figures here:

Calculate and Compare Shipping for UPS, FedEx, USPS

You can compare what's the best way for economy shipping.  (The cheapest way)

All USPS package postage include tracking at no additional cost.

For future reference, if you want to check shipping cost, you can use eBay's shipping calculator which shows the correct discounted prices for Priority Mail.  Note that you can choose whether to see the retail ("in store" rates or the online ("eBay") rates. The rates are grouped by eBay's arbitrary categories (economy, standard, expedited) so it's also a way to check on which services are in which category. As mentioned in the above discussion, USPS First Class package is in eBay's "Standard" category.
