I had an issue where the buyer didn’t receive package and tried to create a missing mail complaint . I used the tracking number provided by ebay and the usps said they can do nothing about this because this is an ebay tracking number. What is this all about? I though that ebay worked with usps to create this new service .Has anybody had this problem and how it was resolved?.
Does anybody know how to physically get a hold of ebay.
Thank you
Thank you

According to eBay, you can (only) track the ESE through your myeBay acct. or your seller hub. In fact, here is what eBay said just today as it notified us of a price increase on the ESE (but no notice of improved service).
"Track the progress of your shipment only through My eBay or Seller Hub. An acceptance scan is not required. The built-in tracking for this eBay delivery service is what we need to confirm your shipment."
So, there you have it. No problem. (wink, wink)
P.S. Just lost a shipment myself that tracked to the buyer's home town, replaced it, and tracked the second as delivered, but buyer still filed a non-received claim. As Friskya said, "Oh the joys of the ESE."
