I am dealing with a mess which I imagine many people are.
I sold a golf club and shipped it using an Ebay-generated label. The label cost me $26.54 (as the seller) purchasing from Ebay. The USPS returned the club to me and said I shorted them $13.75 in postage. I priced out the package again on Ebay, also on Pirateship, and through the USPS online site and all those sites said I paid the right amount at $26.54. After some back and forth with the post office, I come to find out that Ebay/Pitney Bowes only paid the post office I believe they said $11.75. They didn't pay the surcharge for the long package which went into effect on April 1st, but they charge me as the seller for it.

There was a problem where eBay wasn't adding in the surcharge for about 2 days - started 4/27 was fixed 4/29 (link).
I viewed your listing and it's charging the correct amount - but you said you paid $26.54 but the PO claims that they only received $11.75 for the same label? That's a new one. Did you bring a copy of your proof of payment to the PO?

Sorry for the delay in responding. This was shipped on 4/15, and the post office swears this only had the base postage without surcharge paid. I showed them what I paid for it, and they just shrugged their shoulders and told me it is Ebay's problem (and thus my problem).
I did end up getting the postmaster at the receiving post office to comp. the reshipping as it was not handled properly at his location.
