We sold a set of 81 books. Big sale for us. 8 boxes to ship media mail.

But ebay only allows us to print 5 labels. Why? Some suit felt that 5 labels should always be enough? Oh no, we don't want sellers frivolously buying extra mailing labels!

Called CS, can't do anything. Can't print through Paypal as already printed through ebay. USPS won't print out media mail (last we checked).

Any other ideas on how to get around this silly block?

Come to think of it, I wonder if you could also view the paypal payment, select "view details on classic site" and then use the "ship another" link.

Otherwise, paypal.com/shipnow should work if you don't mind manually entering the buyer address.

No, the tracking number on the labels. If all 5 you've printed are identical, you MIGHT be able to simply make copies (check with the PO first).

If they're different you will not. Just take all 8 packages to the PO and buy three more labels.

Going to the PO is our last resort.

We have USPS pickup every morning at our home.

We're elderly and have a hard time throwing 40 pound boxes around. We'll probably have to hire someone to take them for us. (Added expense for NO reason).

I wonder if Stampsdc would work?

You can print as many labels as you like via Paypal's "ship now." Pretend you are sending several boxes to your grandmother. You also can use USPS Click-N-Ship. Media Mail is at the retail rate, no matter how or where you prepare online prepaid labels. Or you can hand-write the labels -- or create them in Word -- and pay retail postage at the PO. Oh, and next time, figure out the required packaging BEFORE you offer items for sale. ~~C~~

OP can't make copies of the label, he has to buy 8 individual labels for the boxes. He has purchased 5. He needs to buy 3 more but ebay isn't letting him.

Correct. You can't buy media mail through click and ship anymore. I think you can still buy first class though. Not 100% sure about that but media is a definite no.

Nice try there couldabeen...

Paypal won't work. The classic section won't let me ship and the paypal shipnow section doesn't work either (though they do let me waste my time putting in all the info! lol).

What happend when you tried /shipnow? I just ran a test label and it worked fine. Are you using

If the seller ships using 8 copies of the same label, then 7 of them are going to arrive with Postage Due (or else be returned to the seller for new labeling) . Each package must have a separately purchased shipping label.
