I'm new to selling some of my "stuff" on Ebay and I want to share my mistake with the forum so other don't do the same. I listed quite a lot of single photo and negatives units for sale and selected Ebay Standard Envelope as a shipping method. I guess Photographs or Negatives are NOT in the "Postcards" category. After item has sold went to print out shipping label and cannot use Ebay Standard Envelope price, must pay extra for USPS rate. $2 isn't a lot but when the item is $6 and now the cost of shipping is +$3 instead of $1. Yup, it stings... And that is why I want to share with others - make certain your items are in the proper category. (Although I swore I saw/read that photographs could be sent via Ebay Standard Envelope I can no longer find the link...
Gonna be even more fun relisting all items with updated shipping terms. /facepalm

It wouldn't bother me to send a $6 photo with a 58 cent stamp
I don't see such things as a high scammers target
I also use my own "hamburger theory", if the item is less than the price of a decent hamburger (no, not McD), I don't sweat it
Just my own opinion
