I had this happen twice now. They offer a rate to the buyer, then refused to honor it. These problems have gotten so bad, I am considering delisting everything. No effort is made by eBay to make it right. They won't even contact the customer, there's no accountability. You would think eBay would step up for once, but they first try to blame the seller then tell you to refund the buyer and make them pay more. Of course the seller does all the heavy lifting. I don't have an answer, but neither does eBay. The sad thing is this company made 18 billion last year. Mostly gouging sellers and their customers, but they have a monopoly. Maybe someone needs to put some teeth in antitrust laws and break them up. A seller would get suspended for behavior that eBay routinely gets away with. One things for sure, I'm not covering for them anymore.
