EMAIL received says to update my listing to International Shipping - I am already set up?

I received the email below to update my listings, but I have several listings and the bulk editor says that they are international shipping listings. I do not have time to go thorough all of them to make sure and everything I read says if I signed up for international shipping I do not have to do anything.

So, does anyone know why am I getting the email below stating to update my listing to international shipping?

Hey devon@ebay. Can you get some clarification from the shipping team?

Do sellers need to update listings that were created prior to the $2.5k limit increase to shake the old $500/$1k limits that were in effect when the listings were created?

If the answer to this is yes, will throwing listings in the bulk editor and saving be sufficient (not making changes, just forcing an update/refresh)?

If the answer is no, then the wording in eBay's message to update listings isn't immediately clear since the message was sent to sellers already enrolled in EIS.

@wastingtime101 I heard back from the Shipping Team and they shared the following:

"There is no need to re-submit 2.5k items. The product automatically re-evaluates listings and pulls them into the program if they are viable to be shipped via eiS."

I don't know why you would get that message as your listings aren't in a high price range and all of them except for 2 show up as being in EIS. . The two that aren't in EIS but since the words fuel valve appear in the title, they are probably not available to be sent through the program anyway.

Are some of your items missing weight and dimensions?  When you don't enter that information I think that EIS guesses at them and often overcharges for shipping. For example, the Christmas ornaments have $62 shipping to Canada, the doll is $45 and scrub pants are $36. They could be right but seem high to me so you might want to check that.

Thank you for responding.

Can you let me know which of my listing numbers are  not in EIS?  Also, how did you and how can I check to see if the listing is in EIS without going though all of them individually?

The 2 butane lighter parts are not in EIS and I doubt that they are eligible which is why they are not in it.  Anything used that may have had fuel in can't be sent through EIS.

To check, click on the view listings under your name in the forum, click into one of them and go down to the shipping and payments tab.  Change your location to an EIS country, (the UK is easiest) and click on see rates.

Then go to view other listings on the right side and you will see the rates to the UK.  If they are not in the EIS and you are searching with the lowest price plus shipping view, they will be at the bottom of the listings.

Did look all 63 of my listings?  I ask because you said there are 2 that are not in EIS.

If yes,  wow, thanx or doing that for me.

If no, is there a way to look at them in bulk to see if they are in EIS or not?

Thanks, Devon. That was quick!

Just wanted to make sure there wasn't an action needed by sellers since the message advised sellers to update their listings.

Yes I looked at all 63.  I explained in the second paragraph of post 8 how you can look at your listings. You just need to temporarily change your location as a buyer so that it shows you the shipping costs to other countries.  Then scroll down the listings. If they have a shipping charge they are in the EIS. If it says 'shipping not specified' they are not in the EIS for that particular country and probably not for other countries either.

I have no idea if there is a way check using bulk edit.  The way I do it is easy.

Hazmat issue if anything could have been in contact with fuel, etc. They tend to be cautious.

Wow Thank you again for doing that. 63 is a lot of listing to view. I tried to see if there was an option to add international shipping costs in the customizable table, but the option does not exist.

I have to thank you again, as I did not know that the Lighter parts were not in the international shipping program.  When editing the listing, it clearly shows as in the international shipping program, but when you look at the listing as a buyer it is not in the international shipping program.  Odd they do not fix that.

Once I discovered that my 2 listings were not in the international shipping program, I was able to fix that by adding additional First Class international shipping to the listings.   I will have to ship myself, but that was the way I did it before the Global international shipping programs existed.

I just bulk edited all 895 listings last night and changed all of my international listings to Ebays Standard  international shipping, so far no problems
