EBay Standard Envelope Puerto Rico

so just got package back from USPS  was send to Puerto Rico by EBay Standard Envelope . I understand that all mail to Puerto Rico is now international mail. but EBay Standard Envelope  does not do international mail. should i go to USPS site and ship this out under them?

You printed a label for ebay standard envelope and it came back to you...correct? Does the envelope state why it was sent back? Is it possible that it was too rigid to be sent that way?

All mail sent to PR does not have to be international. Afaik the only change made was that ebay is now allowing sellers to send packages to PR through EIS if they want to use that program.  As far as USPS is concerned, there hasn't been any change unless I've missed something.

What might be happening .... I think ... I read somewhere that on the eBay standard envelope, if the buyer does not put their address in correctly, then the label will show the country as Puerto Rico instead of the USA.  Puerto Rico should be the state.

This happens because a Puerto Rico address has an additional element than what is standard with other states.  For a Puerto Rico address, there is also an URB (urbanization or neighborhood) part of the address.  URB should be a second line of the street address, but it sometimes gets put as the state, and then Puerto Rico gets bumped to country.

You can not ship packages using the eBay Standard Envelope (ESE).

What were you attempting to ship to Puerto Rico?

If you shipped one of those Magic cards using the eBay Standard Envelope (ESE), did you use a top-loader?  USPS considers top-loaders to be too rigid to go through the high-speed sorting machines -- the ESE needs to bend nearly in half.

Use a penny sleeve instead, sandwiched between two pieces of the material used for cereal boxes and soda pop 12-packs.

Yea was in a Ultra pro  top loader . never had problem until mail to PR . but the mail had yellow Return to sender attempted - not known unable to forward

when said package i mean mail no. 6 3/4 security enveloped

That sounds more like a problem with the buyer's address, rather than a problem with the ESE.

Have you tried emailing the buyer to confirm their address?

I have send few Message to him hopping he will replay will wait day before i little while before i refund him.  or send him card with the correct address
