Hell All!
I recently sold a very expensive item. The buy has paid (currently waiting for the money to post to my account). The buyer has been an Ebay member since 2015. Though they have not purchased anything in over a year. They have 36 reviews as a buyer - all positive. The address is as follows:
l****** GDVVSC
15617 NE Airport Way
C/O GDVVSC
Portland, OR 97251-9615
United States
I have Googled the address and comes up as CHONGQING ZHONGHUAN INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT AGENCY INC. It is not DHL as others have claimed (though DHL is down the street). I have read numerous reviews/reddits/ebay community posts on the subject of this address. Couple people say it’s a fraud, others say it’s legit and some say they have shipped to many times and only had an issue once or twice (due to USPS not scanning the package to mark delivered). Everything I have read is from over a year ago, maybe even six months.
I am curious to see if anyone has had any recent experience? Any current advice? All information is appreciated, again I’m just doing my due diligence!
Thanks in advance!

I sell to plenty of FF`s and Portland is as good as any of them
if you ask me I would say that the FF`s from Deleware scare sellers more
I would never tell someone not to ship
I have sold plenty of $1000 + watches to all of the forwarders and have not had any problems

There are many of those freight forwarders across the USA. So far, I haven't had any issues shipping to the freight forwarders. Regarding the address in your post, I have shipped a couple of order to that address this year for different customers. The customers have left positive feedback for receiving their items in a timely manner & in a good condition & as described in my listings. This freight forwarder isn't DHL. However, it doesn't mean they don't use DHL for certain services for certain locations around the world. Everything depends on the size of the parcel & exactly what you're trying to ship.
If you're hesitant, ship with a required adult signature upon receipt of the parcel. Everything depends on your comfort level.
Good luck.

I've shipped to that one several times-- it's a freight forwarder used by buyers in China. Given that fact, their interest in a Chinese book isn't too surprising. I would ship it with signature confirmation as required to be protected by eBay, but I wouldn't be too concerned. It's not an expensive piece of electronics or a luxury handbag, it's the sort of thing that is probably going to a collector.

Thank you for the advice! Do you put signatures on for your packages?

Thank you! I really appreciate hearing back from someone who shipped to that address recently!

Hi folks, just wanted to share my experiences with a fraud case that I'm going through currently. I sold something to a buyer that requested I ship to this same "15617 NE Airport Way" address, and I subsequently sent out the item. Then I receive a payment hold dispute from eBay, with the rationale stating the buyer "did not recognize the transaction."
The item was successfully delivered and I respond to the dispute with the tracking # as directed by eBay.
Fast forward a few weeks and today I get an email from eBay stating that all transactions from the buyer's account have been suspended:
"This account was recently found to have been accessed by an unauthorized third party, who may have used the account in an attempt to defraud other members."
So quick question to the community, does anyone know which company this actually is (other than CHONGQING ZHONGHUAN INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT AGENCY INC), so I can try and get ahold of them to stop the forwarding of that package overseas, as it's the subject of fraud?

My Amazon account was hacked and an attempt was made to charge me about $1,500 for an iPhone. The shipping address on the phony order was to Chongqing Zhonghuan International Freight Agency Inc in Portland, OR. Fortunately, the charge didn't go through.

I see the op got a wonderful feedback from that Chinese buyer.

PROBLEM: My ebay ad says that I don't ship outside of the US. The buyer (in late February 2023) tells me to send the package to 15617 NE Airport Way, Portland-Multnomah , OR. . The address sounded weird (like FFRMCDA [Chinese name] , 15617 NE Airport Way, etc., with both cities on the shipping address) so I checked and found it was an unnamed freight forwarder and that the buyer was in China. Not knowing what to do, but thinking of cancelling the order, I contacted ebay and ebay told me that my obligation was just to get it there (Oregon) and not to worry what happens after that. I shipped it (using the exact address given by the buyer, but without the Multnomah) , it gets to Portland, then for some reason it goes to Clackamas OR and then it disappears (all according to the tracking receipt). Any day now I'm going to have to refund the buyer the money, consider my item lost, and lose my shipping fees. And when I try to call the forwarder, no one answers the phone and the message box is full. In this case, SELLER BEWARE.

Dont refund. Tell the buyer to give it a few more days.and give the package a chance to arrive. Does it say why the item was forwarded? Can you go to the post office and have the clerk check the tracking on their system. It might say why it was forwarded. Perhaps its a new scam.
