You may need to replace your fuser.
Depending on the exact model number, that may be a serious undertaking:

Turn the Printer off and turn it back on. You might get lucky and this will clear the error and allow you to temporarily print. If not then yes you have to replace your Fuser. It is very easy to do. Just order the Maintenance kit for the printer, it should come with the Fuser and a bunch of other consumable parts that should be replaced. Hope this information helps. And good luck with the printer.

"Serious undertaking" ??? Ain't that the truth! Hubby is NOT about to attempt that!
Anyway, he spent several hours looking at YouTube videos, and they all seem to be working on laser printers that only print BLACK. We have one that prints in colors, and we are guessing the fuser is part of the toner cartridge. We were alerted that the black toner was "low" but it still printed pretty dark, so we lept on plugging along (like we have in the past). Perhaps we went too long....
We are going to purchase a black toner and see if that will fix the problem.

I have turned the printer on and off many times, waiting longer and longer to turn it back on, and it does not help.
Going to buy a new toner cartridge and hope that fixes the problem. We suspect having a technician replace the fuser will be expensive.

Have you ever actually cleaned the fuser roller?
Should be done regularly, depending on how much you use the printer.

LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276 nw
I called a local printer repair shop we have done business with. The lady explained that a new fuser would cost at least $100 plus labor of at least $200.
Her suggestion was to contact MicroCenter, where we purchased the printer and see what they say since she believes the fuser shouldn't have burned out so soon. She also recommended purchasing from Costco if MicroCenter won't help.

No. Never knew there was such a thing as a fuser roller and that it needed cleaning.

On some printers the fuser can be changed like the toner cartridge.
Yours is apparently not one of those.
Another video, specifically for the M276 fuser replacement:

Does not look like a simple procedure, especially considering there is a chance that the fuser is OK, but a power supply module needs replacing. I would hate to go through replacing the fuser and have that not fix the problem.
Leave the printer unplugged for half a day and if you still get the error when you start it back up (or soon after), start looking for a repair shop or a new printer.

The 2 rollers the paper feeds between.
We vaccum ours at work (turned off, unplugged and cold) a couple of times a month because it gets all these little paper shards and dust and stuff (we print a LOT of pages every day).
I've never done it, but I believe the rollers also get wiped down with ispropyl achohol every once in a while as well.

Hubby spent several hours researching. We are going to purchase a new printer at Costco as soon as he wakes up from his nap.

The printer has been turned off since last night.
Right after I sent my last reply, I decided to turn it back on, and lo and behold, no error. I was able to print 7 pages of stuff.
Eureka! Now I won't have to spend $$$ on a new printer. However, the black toner is low, and I really need to buy another, but hate the thought of spending $80 and then down the road that error might pop up again.
But if it does, I'll do what I did when the last printer died: I sold the barely used toner on ebay!
Thanks again!!!

Very good news!

The good news was short lived.
I need to print 2 labels today, and got that fuser error again! Shut down the printer (I suspected maybe I should have done that after I was able to print) and started up again. No help. It's shut down now and I'll try again just before going to the post office later.
Maybe we'll end up at Costco after all. 😞
