Today I used the FedEx.com calculator to estimate the shipping cost for several countries, clicking on "view signature options" (there are 5 variants) and filling one in. No such view option comes up for shipping to China.
I called up FedEx and spoke to several of their tech experts. They gave me a range of explanations, but none knew for sure why the signature confirmation option does not come up for China. One told me that it is not possible to get signature confirmation in "some countries" and that might explain it.
China is a common destination for the item I'm selling (a photo lens), so I need to resolve this.
Any experience with this situation appreciated.
