You chose the carrier, so ultimately, the buck stops with you. Even with your own website, you're going to face issues with late delivery, and customers wanting a refund for late delivery.

If you had been a USA seller then the time extension for resolving a case of INR would have been applicable.  No idea what the rules are for eBay Europe or the Netherlands where you appear to be located.
