Do I need to accept a "doesn't fit" return? ...should I???

I am fairly new to selling on ebay, and I just got my first request for a return. The item the buyer purchased from me was a North Face jacket and I had it listed as "no returns accepted", yet he is now requesting to return the jacket because it "doesn't fit"... For clarity, the size of the jacket (large) was correctly listed when sold and the buyer is saying it is too small (in the listing, the description and photos also clarified that it was a "slim fit").

My question is:  Do I really need to accept this return since I had the item listed as "no returns accepted", and especially since the reason was simply "doesn't fit"? If I decline the return and the buyer opens up a case, will ebay just force me to accept the return anyway because of the money back guarantee?? Also, If I decline the return and the buyer gives me negative feedback, do i have any recourse to dispute that feedback or have it removed since the buyers reason was simply "doesn't fit"??? (I mean c'mon! the buyer has to be responsible for making sure he is purchasing the right size, right?)

I have 100% positive feedback right now, and I dont want to upset the buyer, but I'm just really worried about getting the jacket back and it not being in resaleable condition...  Any and all input is appreciated! Thank you!!!

This is why you should not be lazy like so many listers and always take the extra 2 minutes to MEASURE everything with a tape measure. I know some listers photograph items with a ruler or tape measure, but that only gives one measurement and I think that detracts from the appearance, but YMMV.  Then in the desscription put something like: "Label says: Size Medium, slim fit" and then add you own templated section which says:

"Actual Measurments Length (back of neck to bottom hem): 34", Chest (under armpits) 38", Sleeve Length (shoulder seam to cuff) 36", " etc. for every critical measurement. I've found many case of brand new Jeans with 34x30 tags which are clearly 32 inch waists. Also put at the bottom, "If you are typically hard to fit, please request additional measurements before ordering."

In over a year of selling eveything from Jeans to shirts and coats, I've only had one return request on an extra skinny fit. (she was very appologetic, and sounded like she had gained weight recently and I felt sorry for her and accepted it back.)

I feel putting "returns not accepted without tags or not in original condition", and making them pay for return shipping (and or handling fee), greatly reduces frivolous returns (at least with newbies) even though it really doesn't coount for much with Eb.

Measure twice , return never.......Shirts always include shoulders, pit 2 pit, length and arm length.  And force a 20% restocking fee if they don't know their own measurements or only look at the title and see XL and think because they wear an XL in Tommy Bahama doesn't mean that Holister isn't going to run smaller.  Unless you as the seller truely make an error, the buyer should be the one paying to "look" at your items for sale, and they need to come back in the same condition to resell or  you need to call and appeal.  They can try something on, they can't wear it out and return it.

And I know it's to late for theseller with the wedding dresses, but all you needed to do was tell paypal they were new in the box and they had been removed, tried on and then thrown back into the boxes when shipped back and unsellable.  Paypal will allow you to upload photos and appeal even after they have refunded a buyer who simply shows tracking.  Just call in the future and know the  policies better than the buyer, I've faught fraudulent returns  starting with ebay, then going to payapl then finally trying to do a chargeback through their bank.
