I am trying to list some larger items for shipping. A large coffee pot that display a cost of $59 to ship to California,
I updated my ebay shipping settings (Carrier-specific discounts )for buyers to allow for both discounted UPS and Fedex pricing.
Carrier-specific discounts for buyers
I created a new listing but the UPS ground cost is still $59.
If I check the price in pirate ship it is $39.
What can I do to make sure my listing are displaying the discounted shipping costs?
I am familiar with how to purchase the discounted shipping label but nobody will buy my items with a $59 advertised shipping cost.

I don't have time to look up but there is a setting somewhere--maybe in account settings and shipping--where you can choose to have eBay display the discounted rates you pay.

IIRC there's a checkbox for "apply to current active listings". If that doesn't work, try ending and re-listing.

Yes I changed to have that setting checked but am not getting any different pricing.

Make sure you have a UPS account

Recheck your shipping preferences to allow discounts to be passed on to buyers is still enabled. Also recheck your weight and dimensions.

I did that too. I created a new listing and no price change. I also double checked and verified the setting was properly set in my settings.

Still displaying the $59. What are the dimensions and weight?

It's not just this listing. I checked two of your listings that offer First Class package shipping, and they also are showing the retail postage price.

Yes, still displays $59. However pirate ship shows the retail rate at $49, discounted down to $31

eBay's shipping calculator shows the same online rates. Now, how to persuade the listing to show that! (But don't forget that you'll be charged a final value fee on whatever the buyer pays for shipping.)

Ebay is still showing buyer's the $59.63, when you are right it should show $31.75, for that size package and weight with the discounts passed through. Not sure what is going on here.

Here are my settings. Note I did not select the discount for USPS.
