When listing items, I used to be able to select "Free Shipping" under the free shipping options. With the latest UI update, I noticed this was gone and I was scratching my head on how to list the item with free shipping. I ended up trying to see if listing the price as "$0.00" would work and it did - it shows the product with free shipping in my listing.
Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I've noticed the same thing. Just another of many, many money grabs. They take a piece of the shipping cost so they want to make it difficult for us to give free shipping. Ebay has destroyed itself over the years.

Agreed. eBay is telegraphing that they own this space, so they can do whatever they want to buyer and seller as long as it makes them another nickel.
This is the kind of abusive behavior that will ultimately result in anti-monopoly legal action. It feels like their executives are far beyond building a platform / community that serves anybody other than their quarterly performance metrics.

use the "edit all" when you get to the shipping section.
it should show a toggle to "free"

fees on shipping paid has been a fact of eBay selling life for over a decade.
Fees are based on buyer total payment.
$10 + $5 ship
$1 + $14 ship
$15 + free ship
It's all the same fee wise. Why is it difficult to list with free shipping?

It's still there. Need to click on this blue button and then it pops up. I put a draft up and change the photos and descriptions on one draft I use it over and over.

Hello, looks like I’ve had a few replies after my initial thread opening. It was a glitch on ebay’s where the button was missing but it has since been restored.

Use shipping policies and these selections will go faster and you won’t need to select them on every listing.

Because they keep changing their website. They've recently switched to a more phone-friendly interface and the option for free shipping was redesigned. I eventually found it. Thanks.

Would you show me step-by-step how to get to it on desktop? The only way I could get free shipping to work any listing was to select “Buyer Pays” and put in “$0.” Then it shows as FREE SHIPPING when I preview the listing. There is no box to click anywhere, all browsers on Mac.

Look in the upper-right corner of the listing form, for the option to switch to the advanced version sometimes called the Business tool.

I think I'm done with eBay. I've tried all these suggestions and there is no Free Shipping option. No matter what I do it generates a price for the buyer. It use to be Buy-Buy eBay, now it's Bye-Bye !

When I click on Sell now on your listing posted today I see a free shipping option so I don’t know why you are not seeing it, are you choosing a shipping option first?
