I have had shipping set to take payment from my eBay funds, but the last two shipments (Jan 2023) were charged to my credit card. Did they change the default, or is it no longer possible to charge shipping to your eBay funds? (I can't get back to the print labels page to check until I get another sale.) Thanks.

I've not heard of such a change. You can pretend to ship... go to a completed sale, tick the 'Purchase label' again and see what pops up at the bottom of your page... then arrow back.
If your default has been changed, you can change it back with your next real label. Good luck.

If they payout most or all of your money and there is not enough available funds to cover the shipping charge, then they bill it to your CC

Thanks. They probably have a minimum amount to keep on hand. The item was $5, shipping amount I charged was $3.25, total buyer paid was $8.25. Shipping amount I paid was $4.13, so there were enough funds from that sale available.

I requested to print another label (thanks!). At the bottom of the screen it says "We'll deduct the amount of this transaction from your funds. Any balance due will be charged to your credit card ending in XXXX, or you can select a different payment method." There were enough funds to pay for the shipping (see my reply to lakefor94) but less than $10 remained so maybe they have a minimum amount to keep on hand?
Thank you!

There has to be enough money in the PENDING and NOT in the AVAILABLE FUNDS. The latter is too late to use and is preparing to be 'DEPOSITED'.

If you had 'Processing' funds, they'd have come 'Your funds' first, I would think. Lately, the payouts have been so quick that if I don't print labels same day, they might have already moved to 'Available'... and then my CC on file would be hit.
Was there much time in between making the sale and buying the label? 🤔
