Hi, @reberab0. While there is no guarantee, you can reach out to your seller through messaging and request they delay shipping the package to extend the delivery date.

No, but you could arrange with your post office to hold your mail if you will be out of town.

Please don't follow the advice from the eBay rep above, a seller can get a defect, actually WILL get a defect if they do not ship within their handling time.

Best you ask your post office to hold the item for you or see if a neighbour can check your mail if you are going to be away.

Delivery dates are estimates.  It starts with how many days a seller takes to ship.  If you are asking for a delay, the correct thing to do is ask the post office to hold your package if you are on vacation.   If you want it quicker, sometimes the seller can ship quicker but that sometimes, they can't.   As someone posted,  a seller MUST ship within their handling time or they get a "defect."  With a few defects, they can get suspended.

No. NO. No.  NEVER ASK A SELLER TO DELAY SHIPPING.  They can get a defect for that.

YIKES...no seller in their right mind is going to agree to this. No doubt it will pass the estimated delivery date and some buyers may use this as an excuse to file an INR in addition to the defect that @ms.rodriguez* mentioned.

I'm not saying the OP will, but it is definitely grounds for abuse/scam.
