I get all my eBay deliveries sent to work. Yesterday USPS attempted delivery of two packages at 6:03 pm, after the mailroom was closed for the day. Instead of marking the tracking as Business Closed and trying again the next day, they were marked as Refused and are being sent back to the seller. What should I do? I've had dozens of packages delivered to work and this is the first time this has ever happened.

"The tracking information says it was refused."
That doesn't mean that the package was marked "Refused".
It is very likely that the wrong event was entered when delivery was attempted.
I would guess that the package will be delivered to you on Monday.

How do you know that the packages were marked Refused?

Call or visit Post Office local to your workplace.

Call your local post office early or better yet go there 1st thing in the morning. You may be able to get your packages before they go out on the outgoing dispatch truck.

You are correct. It was delivered to me today. Thanks for the information. I was just going by the tracking information on the USPS website which said that the packages were going to be returned to the sender.
