Delivery Estimate: Null, tracking not recognized

Hello, 

i ordered and paid for a rather expensive set of paints from a seller in Japan with a 100 percent rating.... the payment went through immediately July 17,  that Friday  I sent a message asking when I can expect it to ship.... I got no response from seller, but an email from EBay stating it has shipped. But now days and days later, the delivery estimate continues to say "Null" and the tracking number doesn't seem to be working on EMS (the listed carrier) at USPS, its been saying "Label Created" since I've recieved the email from eBay. I'm nervous for a few reasons- 1. This was my first (and expensive) purchase on EBay and I was apprehensive to begin with- 2. I've been noticing all this stuff about opening claims have to be done within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.....and my date is "Null" 

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's why you have Aug 16:

Latest estimated delivery date
When we have no estimated delivery information, we consider the latest estimated delivery date to be 7 days from payment date for transactions between a buyer and seller in the same country, and 30 days from the payment date for buyers and sellers in different countries.

Thanks, I just wish the initial date wasn't listed as a July date- otherwise I wouldn't have bought it....as I am leaving my home for 2.5 months and need the paints to leave with me. I'm going to try to remain optimistic and hope it arrives before then. I know I'm protected money wise after that 30 days....:but I really need the paint- as they are my primary materials for my upcoming residency. And if 30 days is international standard -despite what's listed on the original listing- I'm screwed. Unless I order a second 300 dollar set now and have better luck.

I do appreciate everyone's input- it's been the only highlight of my eBay experience thus far 🤷🏻‍♀️

Perhaps a friend, neighbor or relative could forward them to you, if that becomes necessary. I still think you'll be okay on this one. You ordered the item July 17. It was shipped July 20 or July 21. International tracking is iffy at best. The seller said on the listing that delivery takes about 14 days, so from July 20 or 21, that's around August 3 or 4. I think you'll receive the paints in time for your residency. *fingers crossed*

I hope so too! I am admittedly obsessed with tracking packages-  This has been like a package trackers anonymous meeting 🙃 I'll try to stay calm and continue to breathe until the 3rd or 4th!

She ordered it on July 17. How is she "well beyond this date?" 17 + 19 = 36, or August 5 (depending on whether eBay counts the first day/last day). Today is July 25--only eight days after she ordered it.

If the seller has a 5 business day handling time, the OP is jumping the gun. Today is the 6th business day. The seller probably shipped. Time to relax until 8/16 🙂

I have same problem.

I buy item from the seller today and after few ours ebay sent me email that they closed that item for some concern reasons and estimated delivery is null what should i do.
