When a delivery error appears to have been made by the delivery service, does that service not bear any responsibility for retrieving the item and getting it to the correct location?
A message here today from a seller states that he received a negative FB because the item was apparently delivered to the wrong address.
In that FB, the buyer indicates that they know what street it was delivered to, not their own street. Since this seems to have been a delivery error, not the fault of the seller at all, is there no requirement that the courier at least attempt to get it back?

The buyer should ask her own mail carrier what happened. He's the one who misdelivered it.
I made a suggestion to the OP in that post.
