In Sunday i bought very heavy and expensive item on Ebay from UK. Yesterday on my Ebay summary page it clearly says: Delivered on Aug 23, 2017.
When i click on tracking number: i got message allready fo 36 hours: We're unable to show the shipping status at this time. Please try again later.
if i go on order detail page show full tracking history i got:
Wednesday, Aug 23, 2017 8:39 AM N/A Delivered and signed for
Wednesday, Aug 23, 2017 6:33 AM Birmingham On its way to the courier
now since i'm in different country in the two hours the package could be delivered in that time only with ballistic misille.
Anway the seller used Hermes to deliver in Ebay GSP center, and Hermes tracking is showing that is Signature from household ??
Now it is obvious that my package is delivered and signed for in GSP center but why cant i track it further? Whats wrong with the system, and also on drop down menu on the right side of the item there is no more "I didn't receive it" option which is normal, because it is "delivered"???
What now?

where is the tracking no? now it is allmost 3 days from signed and delivered, when the second track number will appear.
issue with gsp?? and how will i start if i dont have option "i did not recive it" it is a flaw, stupid one, which seems nobody understand on this theme except @terrycanarsky
You have already been told that the 2nd step is for the GSP to forward the item to you & send the tracking number. It can take anywhere from 1-5 business days sometimes longer to for them to send you the new tracking number.

Nor am I and of course no offense is taken. I think at this point I will graciously bow out and since you have some confidence in @terrycanarsky it makes sense that you continue to work with them. In closing, I sincerely hope your item arrives in perfect condition within the delivery time stated at the time of purchase.

Hmmm, all I said was to call eBay and ask for help since a buyer ought to be able to track a package even if it is shipped through the GSP. If we sellers ship (without GSP), we are expected to provide a viable tracking number, true? Why wouldn't the GSP?
mr_lincoln, I'm not "working with" anyone, just gave a suggestion.

There most certainly is a 'glitch' in the tracking of international items right now. I have complained to Customer Services on at least three ocassions in the last month.
The item status shows as 'delivered' but the item has only arrived at the global shipping centre.
After a delay, a further tracking number will appear for the 2nd leg of the journey but this is often after the item is delivered to the buyer so not really very helpful.
i was told that only a few items are affected by this problem and yet all of my international sales are still encountering it.
it is nt good enough Ebay as it is very confusing for buyers and a pain for sellers who are having to explain it to their buyers.
Come on, sort it out!
