I found out the hard way when a card on file for billing expires. Ebay can still bill that card. Make sure you go in and delete any cards you have on file that are expired. Somehow, they changed the billing method for my shipping labels from my bank account they made me set up. To an expired PayPal account card.

How were you paying for your shipping labels through your bank account?
When you buy a label, you only have 2 options, Pending Funds or Pay Pal.

They don't 'bill' your checking account unless you use 'pending payments' and then don't have any $$ in 'pending' (money already 'sent' to be deposited does NOT count).
You can pay 2 ways.
Pending (through ebay, if no $, they take from checking acct.)
Paypal (go to paypal to determine 'what' they are using for payments (PP will use $ in PP account first, if there is none then they go to '1st choice' which you set up, could be 'this' CC or 'that' CC' or PP CC or or or...YOU detemine it in Paypal.

That's why I always remove a credit card after I make a purchase. When paying for an item I always uncheck the "Remember this card for future orders".

For the last 30 labels billed. I have been using pending funds, if there is none, then the bank account where the pending funds were sent to. Never PayPal. I did not have many funds there and they billed a different bank account for the label, one not used for labels except through PayPal. I never use PayPal for much of anything anymore thanks to Ebay. Had me wondering where the billing went.

The thing that shocked me was that the card was expired, and PayPal allowed it to go through.
