Hello! I ask EBAY to increase the estimated delivery time by 1 month for orders sent in March and April, all of them are delayed due to Covid-19. Parcels were cleared at the Russian customs, and after that they were transferred to the warehouse in anticipation of departure and export of the flight.
Unfortunately, all parcels sent by the Russian post are now delayed, and so far we have not been informed when they will be exported. All Russian sellers are in a difficult situation. Some of the smaller packages were previously sent by passenger flights, but because of the pandemic, these flights were stopped. We are all waiting for an early resolution of the situation with hope. More than seven of my parcels were stopped, and I already opened the lost cases for the earliest to receive a response from the postal company.
All parcels will be delivered, I'm sure of it, But the estimated delivery time on May 5 or 7 on eBay may be late, buyers will open disputes and receive both money and goods, and the seller will lose twice !!!
Many sellers risk losing their business completely! This is unfair, sellers who have fulfilled their obligations of timely shipment should not suffer losses due to a common global problem.
Ebay has a chance to improve seller loyalty, make real useful protection for them!

Sellers always bear the risk of problems with international selling. If you want to continue to sell internationally during this time, that is your decision and your risk ... not eBay's.
Do what is best for your business. It might be wisest to simply close up your on-line store until the shipping situation clears up. Otherwise, one strategy that you might use is some combination of the following:

What I wrote isn't intended to be fair ... it is reality.
All things in life have risk and reward. In my opinion, the risk of selling internationally right now is higher than the reward.

I completely agree with the previous letter! and I ask the leadership of Ebey to support the sellers. To extend the delivery time so that buyers do not open disputes ahead of time.
Regards , Oleg

I think that EBAY is also not profitable for some stores to close. Russian post has identified a number of countries where sending is prohibited. There was no ban on sending to other countries, including the United States and Europe. I think that the sellers were guided by this and sent parcels. The postal service did not warn you that there might be difficulties. In the statuses of many parcels from Russia, the status is "SENT from RUSSIA". I think that in this situation, the protection of sellers should be adequate in this situation.

I am a seller. I write on here because this is a communication forum between peer eBay buyers and sellers.
This is not eBay customer service ... though sometimes an eBay employee will read posts. But, if you want to reach eBay employees, then you should contact them through regular customer service channels.
