I'm still new to all of this so please bear with me. I have been selling some boxes of coffee using the volume price discount option. I had one order that was bought and paid for, it was for 5 boxes of coffee. When all of the boxes were shipped together it was now placed in the oversized category and I had to re-buy and print and new shipping label with the new dimensions of the larger box. I don't know how big the box is going to need to be till the order is placed so I had no idea this was even an issue (like I said, new, still learning). How do I set up my shipping to account for this? For example 1 box is 12" x 8" x 8", customer orders 5 boxes, for them all to be shipped together they were placed in a 24 x 16 x 19 box which is in the USPS oversized category. What is the best, most cost effective way to set up and ship this out?

Sometimes, it's cheaper to ship in 2 boxes. Try that. In the future, to prevent this , have an idea of the cost of something if a buyer buys multiples. This way, you can calculate the shipping.

You can avoid the 22" upcharge by finding boxes that don't exceed 22" on any one size.

That's part of my confusion, if they have already paid the shipping for the 5 boxes how do I ship it in multiple boxes?

That would work if everything for the order fit into a smaller box, this was the smallest box that all 5 of the customers order fit into (every inch was filled inside)

After you print the first label return to the "buy label" page and click "buy multiple labels for this order" (Not sure of the exact wording but you get the idea.) You can print up to 5 labels on an order.

See how much it would cost to ship in 2 boxes. If the difference is alot (you decide what is alot for your budget), you void the first label and print 2 labels. As someone told you, you go to my Ebay and hit PRINT another label and you can print the 2 additional labels. Do NOT forget to void the first label.

Isn't there a additional charge setting for when a customer orders more than one?
You can set the price for one package, if additional is ordered you can change
the setting to say $2 for each additional unit ordered.
You end up with a shipping charge of $10 for one. A customer orders two so
an extra $ 2 is charge or $12 total for shipping. They order 5 you get an additional
$10.00 for a total of $20.00.
