Confused about a resend package

Hello eBay community,

I hope somebody can give me some information about a package that is resend to me with the same tracking number.

At first I have to mention that I live outside the USA.

But that is no problem because when I buy goods in the USA I always get them. But here here  my problem.

I bought from someone nearly 2 weeks ago in the USA and she send it to me with USPS.  And she also provide me a track and trace number that worked. I could follow the package on the USPS website. But what happend now is that the package was delivered back to the sender. I contact here and asked what went wrong. She was puzzled to about it. Later on she said USPS made a mistake. There was nothing wrong with the package. Just my address was circled only. What was strange because the addressing was right. She told me that she brought it back to the post office. And that they resend it back to me with the same service :  priorty expres mail with the same track and tracé number. 

Next to that the sender told me not to worry. Of course I have a good trust  in this seller.  Because I bought already earlier from her and evertything went right than. My only problem is now that when I give in the tracking number is that I can't follow it anymore. And that it still shows that it is delivered.

At last I want to tell that this resend found place yesterday. So one day for the weekend. And maybe that could be the reason that the USPS system is still not up to date.

I would wait a few days to see what happens.  If you don't see any change with the tracking number, file an Item Not Received complaint with eBay.

I will follow up your advise.

After the weekend I will check if the USPS system made a update.

If not I will contact anyway the seller.

In that way there is still a good chance to track it again.

Anyway I let you know what will happen further on.

What does the tracking say? What was the posted reason for mis-delivery?

...because that could depend on whether an INR works or not or angers the seller that was working with you.

I made already a reply to you but something went wrong.

There was nothing wrong with the package. Just my addressing was circled. So it was only a rare mistake.

Because of that reason that nothing was wrong further on with the package. The people of the post office resend it with the same track and tracé number.  Next to that I have a good trust in this seller. I believe her what she told me. But I'm a little bit worried because when I give in the track and tracé number it only shows a signed delivered at her address last friday. But I will wait until monday and see what will happen on the website of USPS. Maybe they Will make a update. Next to that the package was resend around 17:00 pm. So that could be a reason to I think. Anyway thanks you Robothands for your interest and trying to help me.

I've had this problem before, domestic and international and it resolved itself while not updating tacking along the second trip. I feel certain you have nothing to worry about.

What exactly did the tracking say? The exact wording.

The exact wording will be the deciding factor in an INR if something does go sideways on this instance or in the future.

Hereby I send you the exact tracking results from the USPS website.

I changed a few lines for privacy reasons for the sender.

But it is still the same information that I get when I give in the tracking number on the USPS website.

Since last friday when it was delivered and after the moment that the sender resend it.
