Hello fellow sellers! So I received an email saying I am now eligible to sell in the EIS program. However , it did not "take" automatically because all of my shipping policies had all Counties checked-off as Excluded. I watched the vids and stuff to find out more and what I had to do on existing listings.
So, I decided today to dig into the listings (I only have a handful) to convert SOME of them to be available to EIS.
So I revised by going into the listing itself and revising the shipping policy and *Unchecking Excluded Countries* and it seems the BIN listings took the revision okay but the Auctions did not convert.
So my main question is : Are Auctions automatically excluded from EIS? or am I missing some setting or another click somewhere ?
If someone has the time to look - I would greatly appreciate it!

So to beat a dead horse 🙄 ..... I wanted to come back and post what I found out - maybe it'll help someone else who's confused about this EIS opted-in program. BTW, I'm a very sporadic/temp seller, so I'm way behind on the last few years of changes to eBay's listing/payment/shipping process.
I had to go into each listing (only 10) to revise OR make all new shipping policies by un-checking all the country exclusions I had done when I started listing a few things back in April and didn't want to ship int'l at that time. I'd read about possibly being opted-in on the boards and figured that would thwart being opted-in.
Not sure why eBay just didn't say clearly that we had to do that in the 'You're Enrolled in Ebay International Shipping' email. I had to hunt and peck all over youtube & ebay to find the answers, and even then, didn't find much. Clear as mud to me. Or maybe it's just me.
Anyway, regarding auctions: I determined the AUCTION listings for my pre-owned RH pillow covers and vintage decorative tray will not be available internationally as far as I can tell. It's also as clear as mud actually. But I guess they're not "eligible". Uh-Okay. Sorry for the attitude. I'm just tired of banging my head.

I had posted the topic in the Shipping community but not sure it's the right place for it. Here's the link: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Shipping/Confused-Newbie-to-EIS-program-Revising-listings-to-EIS-remov...
I was asking for those eperienced in the correct way to revise individual listings. I am confused because the auctions I wanted to be available internationally did not seem to revise properly.
I really wish ebay would add a column to the Seller's Hub for "Shipping: Domestic and/or International" so we can see which listings have it.
PS to Moderators: If this is an inappropriate cross-post please let me know or just put it here in the Seller's forum. Thank you!

You didn't need to revise your listings when going into EIS. Unless you were changing listings that shipped to the US only to Worldwide.
What exactly are you wanting to correct?

I took a look at several of your listings both auction format and BIN and it does not appear that any of those are setup for the EIS program. Are you sure you have been transitioned into the program? Take a look at your account settings under shipping preferences. If you have been enrolled in the EIS program it should show at the top of the preferences under shipping service. If it is not there then eBay has not enrolled you in the program yet.

When I first had access to EIS, I had to end and sell similar before EIS would show up. Just my experience.

I am going to guess that you need to adjust your shipping preferences in your account settings. All of your current listings are set to US only shipping. What do your current account settings/preferences look like? Yours would be the first situation where I have seen a seller having to end current listings and sell similar to pickup the international shipping. When you are transitioned into the EIS program eBay modifies your current listings, at least those that are eligible to ship through EIS, to include international shipping based on your account seller preference settings

I've been in the EIS since it was first offered. I was only stating my experience when initially enrolled in EIS. I had to end and sell similar for EIS to show up. This was quite some time ago.
All of my current listings are available worldwide.

Hi mam98031- If you are asking me 🙂 stuffygrotto, I first assumed my listings would be automatically converted but then I read that seller's countries that they specifically EXCLUDED would not be overridden to go EIS and that ebay would respect my excluded countries. I had all of them checked. So I went into the individual listings which I wanted to be in the EIS program and adjusted my shipping policy by UNCHECKING ALL of the countries. But I kept the "NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING box the same because that's what the instructions said to do. It's so confusing. So what I am left with is that the auctions I wanted to go EIS did not convert - but the BIN listings I chose , did. One is shown below:

That is an unusual experience.

Try unckecking that box for NO Int'l shipping on one of your listings and see how it updates.

If I un-select 'No International Shipping" I must choose either flat or calculated and then make all the other choices regarding carries and such. I believe that is what sellers who DO NOT WANT TO USE EIS per se, are doing and they are self shipping internationally so-to-speak.

This is what one of my auctions shipping menu says when I go in to revise it :
