I asked this on the shipping board but nobody knew the answer. I thought i would try here.
Yesterday i had a customer buy 9 items from me in 3 different orders. Obviously did not check out properly.
I could fit his 3 orders/9 items in a medium priority mail box. I tried to print 1 label for the 3 orders. It wouldn't let me. It would let me combine 2 orders but not 3.
Is that a glitch or is that just how it is?

I've combined as many as seven orders in one package / label.
- never had the opportunity to try for more than 7.
Had to change the shipping method from First Class pkg to Priority Mail.
As long as your buyer made all 3 purchases while using the same registered eBay account, I can't imagine why you weren't permitted to them them together.
Edited to add:
Is their shipping address exactly the same for all 3 orders?

Can't you just go in and add the tracking number (from orders #1 and #2) to the 3rd order? 'Add tracking'??

Same ID and address on all three?
