I just spent a few hours trying to figure out how to combine shipping for multiple items bought by the same buyer. I am auctioning small lots of LP records, and I got buyers who won a few of my auctions. I tried to set up combined shipping but cannot get it to work. I don't think it is possible for auctioned items. I followed the suggestions: 1) Eneblaed "combined payments" 2) checked "combine all weights" 3) When I tried to "add rule to current listings/apply promotional shipping rule" I was unable to select "Volume Pricing - Allow Combined Payments and Shipping." The toggle was grayed out. Somewhere in the instructions it said this can only be done on fixed sales, not on auctions. I guess I'm just looking for verification that this is the case. Hmmm. Back to Discogs, where is is simple to merge orders and create an invoice with combined shipping.

For auctions already ended, go to your orders page, find one of the items you want to combine and under the actions column there's an option to send invoice.

You only have to enable a shipping rule on a listing, when you create and name specific rules. The basic "combine all weights" is a global setting and applies to all listings, including auctions, that use Calculated Shipping.
Just make sure you set enough time before payment is due, to cover a buyer winning multiple auctions not ending on the same day.
