Combined Shipping Changes?

I may be in the minority, not knowing this,  but if a customer purchased 2 items from you, and did it as 2 separate orders, you used to be able to print the shipping label for one and copy and paste it into the other and it accepted it and worked just fine. Now, you have to combine the orders to print them out as one invoice to send to the customer and then print out the label for the package, on items that are already paid for? 

Today is the first time I have come across this  to print a freaking shipping label out so I called ebay and that is what the rep told me. I have one item that is shipped, the other that the tracking is not showing as accepted and the item still needing to be shipped. I'm afraid to just mark it as "shipped," as the rep told me to do and then track it myself and mark it as "delivered" when it is. Pretty sad when I trust the community more than an ebay rep. What should I do about the item still showing as "to be shipped?"

The policy says NOTHING about any of this for after the payment has already been received. The policy is one sentence and that is it.....

Are you saying that in the 'Orders waiting to be shipped' screen, when you can either click the blue 'print shipping label' or just 'hover over it' and then click 'add tracking number'; is no longer there? 

It was there yesterday (I use it all the time) and I just clicked on another 'add tracking' and it came up for me to input the tracking number.

It was there and asked me if I wanted to add another tracking number, which I did. But I was still getting notices that I had that item to ship. Even though I added tracking to it twice, it showed that it needed to be shipped, and within my one day window.

Im currently having the same issue, it wont let me upload the tracking for the other packages that were purchased because I purchased the shipping label through ebay!  Also scared to mark as shipped without adding tracking as it wont allow me to use the same tracking number for multiple items

If adding tracking didn't change it to shipped, you can do that manually on your sellers hub/ orders awaiting shipping page

You should be able to add the same tracking number to the other items as long as the buyer used the exact same ID to purchase all of the items.

I did this a few days ago. The customer bought an item, and the next morning bought 2 more. The first item was going in a padded envelope at a higher rate so I put all 3 items in the envelope and added the tracking to the other 2. I did have to manually set the other items as "shipped" but they still show the tracking number and progress so all seems to be fine.

Welp, it took until the next day, but it did finally stop showing as needing to be shipped. I was nervous about just checking it as shipped, after I had already entered the tracking twice. It was going to the same address. Just a glitch for the day I guess.

In hindsight, I guess the rep I spoke to was wrong, because there is no way, that I can see, to send an invoice to combine orders AFTER they have paid. That's what the rep told me to do. Misinformation again from a rep. SMH. Shocking. LOL
